Dawn is a picture framer, illustrator, cartoonist & practice manager for Tom Allen's Horse Dentistry.  As a graphic designer she has kept the veterinary practice supplied with significant promotional material.  Dawn illustrated her husband's book the Manual of Equine Dentistry published by Elsevier Science 2003.  Currently she is working on illustrating Tom Allen's second book on the same subject and is excited to render the illustrations in color this time.  Dawn & Tom recently opened "OUR STUDIO" in October 2006.

Tom Allen DVM has a veterinary practice limited to equine dentistry but he is also an excellent rustic furniture builder & sculptor. The versatile veterinarian is  currently writing his second book on Horse Dentistry, having authored and been featured or quoted in many articles and as Fronster White, he's spun a few cowboy poems.  Tom's love of wood is equal to his love for horses, combining these two passions, creating his Pegasus Unicorn Gliders.  Approximately 400 hours goes into each glider and is the sole work of Tooth N' Nail sculptor Tom Allen.

Eli won a vote of confidence and in a non-partisan move was given the official position as the Patterson Pasture Pastor, in charge of conducting grazing ceremonies.  We are delighted to have such a distinguished mascot here at Muleicorn Knoll and look forward to his insightful reign.  It is not always possible to catch the famous fantasy figure in action as he's commenced filling himself to capacity, becoming completely involved with his new role.  You may be one of the select few that are able to catch the unbelievable beast in action when you visit:

Eli Shakespeare Picasso (E.S.P.) recently made his first appearance in a local parade, thus establishing his entertainment career.  As the mascot for the Company of the Muleicorn Puppet Theatre, he is the first fantasy figure of his kind to appear in public. (Muleicorns are typically shy.)

"I ain't skeert," Eli said as some weren't certain of his make-believe status in the real world.  "I likes candy, he instructed as some shared their booty with the dancing beast. 

This has begun a new chapter in the cross-eyed, fantasy figure's life.
