The D.M.R.reported that the paint unicorn currently running loose is getting under their skin! A name was bestowed upon the unauthenticated beast enabling authorities to properly fill out reports. "Chigger" it was argued, "is inappropriate, disrespectful of traditional myth and folklore." F.P.I.© Antarctic Correspondent: Finney T. Reinbaugh |

Three historical
newspapers have influenced the
Eclipse: The New York Daily Graphic circa 1873-89, the New York Graphic circa 1924-32 and the Rocky Mountain Herald, circa 1860-1976. Our primary source of inspiration however, has come from the Rocky Mountain Herald. The idea all came together on one rainy day back in the 1980's and we haven't been able to let it go. The pages of the newspaper is our medium. The Eclipse Staff THE ECLIPSE NEWZPAPER COPYRIGHT DECEMBER 1988; LIBRARY OF CONGRESS NO: VA719 624
